I first joined BBBS in February 2020.  I came across BBBS online a couple years and thought their mission was so cool and decided I wanted to join someday. Why? I have been very lucky to grow up in a stable environment where people cared about me.  I understand how important it is to have that in life and those you can genuinely count on.  Especially as you're growing up!  I figured if I could at the very least be someone to count on and hang out with, maybe it would help during the confusing, growing up part of life. I matched with DJ last February, and for the past year and a half I have had the honor of watching my little brother grow into an amazing young man.  We try to hang out every other week (minus Covid complications) doing things like bike rides, browns/cavs/indians games, Fun n Stuff, getting dinner or just shooting around for a while and talking. Looking back at this past year and a half, I am so grateful I signed up. I got a new brother/friend for llife in someone who I otherwise would have never met! The people at BBBS are amazing and deserve a ton of credit.  If you are able to contribute, thank you so much.  If you have any questions about becoming a big brother/sister or the organization at all, please ask me!

• When we raise $100, it will sponsor one "Match Introduction," when a child meets their Big for the first time.
• When we raise $250, it will sponsor a month of "Match Support," where BBBS connects with the Big, Little, and their parent to help develop their friendship.
• When we raise $500, it will sponsor the enrollment of a new Big Brother or Big Sister, and help us take a child off the waiting list.
• And for every $1,500 we raise, we sponsor a full year of mentoring for a BBBS kid.
