Equal parts fabulous and flavorful, Oasis Youth Center’s Big Hat Brunch is a fundraising fête and joyfully irreverent celebration of queer youth. As an official partner and sponsor of Tacoma Pride, Oasis invites guests near and far to join us for our annual whimsical brunch to rally for queer youth at this inspiring, awareness-raising event.
This year’s theme, Rainforest Flora & Fauna, invites guests into a vibrant world teeming with life among lush canopies, dazzling foliage, and awe-inspiring vistas. The forest exudes adventure and curiosity, sheltering all life beneath its magnificent cover. Table themes represent the diverse rainforests of the Amazon and our own temperate rainforest!
Will you find the treasures within by transforming your table into a rainforest masterpiece to compete for Best Table? Or will you channel your creativity to embody a colorful creature or botanical beauty to win Best Dressed? Either way, it's an adventure you don't want to miss!

Oasis Youth Center is the sole queer cultural center supporting LGBTQ+ youth, 11-24, in Pierce County, Washington. Oasis’s mission is to transform the lives of queer and questioning youth by creating a safe place to learn, connect, and thrive. This guiding principle translates to over 30 hours of weekly programming and special events throughout the year tailored to the needs and interests of queer youth. These activities nurture a healthy, thriving community engaged in cultural celebration, leadership development, artistic expression, and stewardship of the legacy and impact the LGBTQ+ community has in the world.
