I'm riding 50 miles in the Bikes Not Bombs Bikeathon again on September 11th -- again this year as part of the Book Pedlers team made up of members of my book club. Bikes Not Bombs continues to be an amazing organization that trains and provides jobs for city kids and adults on bikes and bike repair, and collects and donates shipping containers of bike parts and complete refurbished bikes to worthy and needy organizations throughout the third world.  BNB uses the bicycle as a vehicle for social change to achieve economic mobility for Black and other marginalized people in Boston and the Global South.
