Although cycling is a favorite hobby of mine, I really believe that cycling has the power to transform lives and communities. That's why I am riding 62 miles (100km) to support Bikes not Bombs. Their mission is to provide access to bikes and bike maintenance skills to those who need them the most. The money raised as part of this bike-a-thon will be put towards our local community here in Boston to provide historically underprivileged youth access to bikes and professional skills training. Additionally, the organization has connections to global communities where access to affordable transportation and the skills to maintain their bikes can really have a major impact on quality of life.
Please consider supporting this cause that is near and dear to my heart!
