Doing the 50 mile fundraising ride for BikesNotBombs this year will probably be tougher than previously, primarily because my riding partner Rick and I have done less on-road training than in past years. My commitment to this fundraising and ride continue because BNB’s mission of using the bicycle as a vehicle for social change continues to resonate with me. I am hopeful that friends and family will support my efforts for BNB, even while most of us are involved in working on potentially even more widely impactful political causes.
