I am riding because I want to make a difference in the world and to my community around me. Bikes not Bombs has a great youth program that I have witnessed before in the shop. The young men and women who have been accepted over the years have learned new mechanical skills, and they are getting acclimated to real-world experiences. 

Another reason why I am riding is that I want to help the people in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean gain access to bikes as a mode of transportation. 

This year, I want to raise $1,000 for Bikes not Bombs. They have worked on my bike, educated me throughout the years, and they have done great things. This organization is what I love about our community.
