Riding into a new chapter for America

I am super psyched that BNB is bringing back the in-person BaT this year!  BNB has been through huge changes and development in recent years. It is now led by a man, Elijah Evans, that grew up in the programs, served in part-time and full-time youth program positions, went away for a time to teach middle school, and then return as the executive director. The strategic plan retains all three of the amazing core programs (youth development, international partners, bike shop) all focused on the bicycle as a vehicle of social change. And now, racial justice is even more front and center than it has been in the past. For those of us who are not targets of racism in our society, supporting BNB is an opportunity to be part of the coming of a new and more just era in our society. And it is by getting on a bike! What could be more awesome!  I'm starting to train now for this ride, and looking forward to being together with friends and hundreds of like-minded people on one of BNB's beautifully laid out routes (thinking the 50) in the early fall.  Please join me riding or join making a donation.
