My Personal Mini-Bash
Dear Friends,
The Performing Arts are a vital part of what makes Seattle such a wonderful place to live. We are so privileged to experience the wonders of world-class symphony, ballet, opera, and live theatre right here in our own city. What a gift!
Seattle Shakespeare Company is Seattle's classic theatre company, and has been a most important part of Seattle's performing arts community for three decades. All who have experienced Seattle Shakespeare Company performances have been inspired, delighted, and challenged in ways they could not have imagined. But, Seattle Shakespeare Company is more than just a Seattle treasure. Seattle Shakespeare Company is a treasure for the entire State of Washington by offering free performances in parks and thrilling the hearts and minds of children through educational programs in schools all across the State.
I am proud to be a member of The Seattle Shakespeare Company Board of Directors. I am in awe of the dedication of all who have committed to make Seattle Shakespeare the great performing arts theatre that it is: the Staff and Management who work tirelessly as a team to make sure Seattle Shakespeare will continue to be our classic theatre in Seattle; the many Volunteers who offer their time to make each performance a pleasant experience; and, of course, the Actors who pour their hearts and souls into every performance just for our enjoyment.
All of us are struggling with the uncertainties of a difficult and challenging time. So also is Seattle Shakespeare Company. We need your help to keep Seattle Shakespeare Company vital and robust. Bill's Bash is the most important fundraising event for Seattle Shakespeare Company. But, we are not able to "go live" this year. So, we are "going live" to you through this virtual Bill's Bash event for 2020.
Will you join me in contributing to The Seattle Shakespeare Company? Your gift and the financial contributions of many just like you, will ensure that Seattle Shakespeare will continue to inspire, delight, and entertain Seattle and the State of Washington for many years to come.
Thank you very much.
