Celebrating Seattle Shakespeare Company
Welcome to Bill's Bash '21!
Thank you for clicking through to this page & helping me support the arts and the strength of the Seattle Shakespeare Company community. Bill's Bash is Seattle Shakespeare Company's annual fundraiser, happening online until we can gather together again.
Our staff and artists never stopped working -- through quarantine and isolation -- to educate and entertain the rest of us, who are also isolated during this historically difficult time. They've created online performances and conversations, free virtual-classroom content in support of teachers, and online, Shakespearean scavenger hunts that connected and entertained thousands -- internationally.
The Seattle Shakes community is a strong one. I'm looking at you! Whether you've applauded from a theatre seat at the Seattle Center, picnicked in the park at a Wooden O performance, or watched in a school auditorium in Toppenish (or donated from a distance!) you are part of Seattle Shakespeare.
This is our chance to make sure that when the theatres open again, Seattle Shakes will be ready. The Bash silent auction and our new artists' marketplace (all marketplace sales are direct to the vendor artists) are online now and will bubble along through May 16. Take a peek! (Auction tab, up there ^ on the right.)
The 'live auction' will be a live-streamed celebration Saturday, May 15. Register for that, too, while you're at it!
And if you are able, poke the donate button over there >.
Please participate in any way you can, and -- most of all -- take care of each other.
Thank you!
