As written by Grady's mom - 

A few days prior to Grady’s diagnosis, he began having difficulty walking and was complaining of pain. It progressively got worse and he lost his ability to walk. Bloodwork confirmed our biggest fear. Grady was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on April 6, 2020 at the age of 2. He endured 801 days of chemotherapy and today remains in remission. We continue to navigate post treatment challenges as they arise. Grady just finished kindergarten and is enjoying his summer being outside, swimming and playing baseball!

We were introduced to Angels Among Us while at the hospital when Grady was first diagnosed. We were so thankful that they were able to provide immediate financial support and relief during a time of so many unknowns. It was one less thing we needed to worry about when navigating a new cancer diagnosis. Now, Angels Among Us continues to provide our family support through their emotional support programming. We always look forward to events hosted by Angels Among Us!
