For my birthday this year, I’m asking my friends to join me in my “Ten/Ten Friend Birthday Challenge” that benefits a nonprofit near to my heart — True Friends.

True Friends provides life-changing camping, travel, equine therapy, and respite experiences for kids, adults and families of all different levels of ability. Whether your loved one has Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, ADHD, hemophilia, type 1 diabetes or other challenges, they find life-long friendships, gain independence and create memories for a lifetime at True Friends. Though many of our participants may not be able to walk, they get a chance to fly down our fully-adaptive zipline and achieve something many never felt they could achieve — just a few of the reasons why I proudly support and serve on the board of True Friends.


Would 10 of you join me in donating $10 a month for a year to True Friends?

For the equivalent of 2 fancy Starbucks coffees or 1 Chipotle burrito and chips a month, $10 would help provide art supplies such as acrylic paints, markers, beads, paper and glue. 

Or if you want to donate $20/month for year, you would help fund adaptive sports equipment such as archery supplies, life jackets and specialized ziplining harnesses.
