True Friends is a nonprofit agency providing life-changing experiences that enhance independence and self-esteem for children and adults with disabilities. True Friends’ programs include camp, respite, therapeutic horseback riding, conference and retreat, travel, and team building; serving over 25,000 individuals annually. We provide services to children and adults with a variety of disabilities including developmental, physical, cognitive, and learning disabilities. Programs are designed to build participants' self-esteem and teach them life-enhancing leisure skills such as swimming, fishing, bicycling, health and fitness, dancing, cooking, and creative arts. We offer activities that are specially accessible and designed to the meet the needs and abilities of each participant.
