Escort the Family of an Officer Lost to Suicide to Washington, DC in May, 2020

In May 2020, Blue H.E.L.P. will be hosting it’s 2nd Annual Police Week Dinner honoring the service of those we lost to suicide, you can join us! Many people pour their hearts into these efforts, others want to sponsor a family but are unable to afford it. This challenge will give you a chance! Here’s how:

  • The top fundraiser for each location will be chosen in the following categories – Team, Individual and Virtual fundraiser;
  • Each location will have three winners – team, individual and virtual. Once you register for a location, you cannot change it.
  • You do not have to attend the walk to win, you can create a virtual team and participate in that manner.

  • Top fundraisers will select a family who has lost a law enforcement officer to suicide to attend the Blue H.E.L.P. Dinner;
  • The teams raising the most money will select one person to escort the family to the dinner, the top individual fundraisers will escort the family to the dinner;
  • A family is defined as up to 4 individuals who are a direct relation to an officer lost to suicide;
  • Travel, dinner tickets and two-night hotel stay will be paid for the family and one escort by Blue H.E.L.P., some guidelines apply.
