BLUE JEAN BASH

Blue Jean Bash is an unfancy, authentic, full-of-heart night where Kansas City comes together to support neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Dinner is served from the same vans that head out three nights each week to meet people living on the streets with food, clothing, care, and consistent support.

Enjoy beer, wine; generous food from Uplift sponsors; a bit of live music; and meaningful stories from the people and work that make Uplift possible.

Every ticket, table, sponsorship, and donation helps keep Uplift’s vans on the streets and our mission moving forward; bringing practical help, dignity, and relationship directly to people experiencing homelessness across Kansas City.

Uplift is a grassroots nonprofit powered by four vans, a warehouse, and thousands of supporters and volunteers. Together, we are building a community that does not look away or forget its homeless neighbors.

It takes a LOT to get the Uplift vans out the door every night.
But when that van rolls up, you should see what we see!
Faces light up, smiles come out, burdens get lifted, and bellies get filled.

Our neighbors can rest a little bit easier when they feel supported and not alone.
They know that they matter. They are worth showing up for.

When basic needs are met, change becomes possible!
Hope is not lost. Things can be better. A different life is possible.

You can make sure these Uplift vans show up
