Hello friends and family!
Last year I joined the Board of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland, drawn to their vision of helping youth achieve their full potential. A year later, I can attest that this is an exceptional organization that runs very lean and is 100% dedicated to making meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (Bigs) and children (Littles). These positive relationships have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people right here in Cleveland.
Leo and I were unable to be at this year’s fundraising event, Bocce for Kid's Sake, but we’d like to invite you to informal, private party at our home the evening of August 6th instead. The cause of Big Brothers Big Sisters is a great reason to gather friends, including Jessica Walters (President & CEO of BBBS of Greater Cleveland). We will add bocce into the mix and, who knows, may even play for drinks!
We will cover all costs for our private gathering, so any donation will go directly to funding the organization. Great care goes into finding, vetting and supporting matches of Bigs and Littles. Your donation makes all the difference in closing the fiscal year with budget to have staff in place to meet growing demand for mentors.
