I have had the privilege of being able to serve on the board at the Beacon of Life for a little over 3 years. I had not heard of Beacon of Life until about two months before I joined the board. When I heard about them and heard about what they do I realized this was a place and people I wanted to come alongside of and help them if I could. Beacon of Life is a place that helps women that are coming from tough circumstances in their life and are looking for someone to believe in them. That is exactly what the staff at Beacon of Life do for the residents residing in the shelter. They believe in, love, and support each other in a wonderful community together. They provide a safe place to live, assistance with substance abuse issues, mental health issues, financial guidance and training, and employment guidance as well. Beacon of Life is making a life changing difference in the lives of these women and in the community they serve. Help us continue to help these women become who they were made to be.
