I have lived in Central Iowa for most of my life. I have volunteered for organizations across the community in varying ways over the years, but had never really had a commitment to one cause. But I wanted to get involved at a deeper level in something I cared about. As I started to learn more about Beacon of Life and met our Executive Director, clients, and employees, I knew this was a way to make a meaningful difference in women’s lives in our community. I was fortunate enough to join the Board of Directors in early 2019 and I am so thankful to be a part of this mission. Everyone deserves a second chance!
