Hi everyone! My name is Kelsey McKenna. I am from Marshfield, MA and have one younger sister, Jacqueline, and two amazing parents, Kevin and Heather. I am currently a Senior at Fairfield University, majoring in Finance. Some of my hobbies include running, traveling, going to the beach and hanging out with family and friends.
BOSTON MARATHON 2024!!!
I am so excited to be a part of Dougie's Team for the 2024 Boston Marathon! I also feel extremely lucky to be running the marathon alongside my mom, Heather McKenna, and one of my best friends, Caroline Wright.
I saw firsthand all of the work and support the Flutie Foundation provides when, last year, my mom, ran the Boston Marathon as a guide. The Foundation's commitment to increasing autism awareness and supporting families by providing resources, financial aid, and education is truly inspirational.
This will be my first full marathon! I ran my first half marathon this past May with the 2023 Run to Remember. Though the Boston Marathon will be more of a challenge, I cannot wait to share my journey with you all along the way and cross that finish line!!
