I'm biking 400 miles from Boston to Montreal over 5 days this summer, and you can help me get there!
My ride fundraises support for Boston Cyclists Union (BCU) and their work to create safer streets, sustainable communities, and more smiling faces rolling around the city. You've likely already seen their programming for income-eligible $5/year Bluebikes subscriptions or their work to help add protected bike lanes on the Longfellow Bridge (I use these to get to work!).
Most of you know that I bike commute, and a network of bike lanes around Boston & Cambridge makes it all possible (and helps my mom sleep at night). Biking is one of the fastest ways for me to get around town when traffic is bad and Red Line headways are even worse. Strong bike infrastructure makes our city better for cyclists and pedestrians of all ages, and we can make them even stronger!
