Hello!

My name is Tina, and I will participate in a group bicycle ride from Boston to Montreal to fundraise for the Boston Cyclists Union (BCU).  I will bike nearly 400 miles over five days!  This year will be my 4th year participating in the ride, and my 3rd year helping to organize it.  I am excited to participate!

Riding my bike gives me the freedom of movement.  I have a deeper appreciation of all the places I have visited by bike.  The photos below are just a few amazing places in New England I have visited by bike!

Boston Cyclists Union works to improve bicycling for everyone in Boston.  I believe in its mission, vision, and values, including people power, dignifying each person, mobility justice, joy and freedom, and sustainability.  Some of the successful projects the BCU advocated for include having protected bike lanes on Centre Street in West Roxbury, adding electric Bluebikes (greater Boston’s bike share program) in Boston, and adding 10 miles of new safe street infrastructure in 2023.  While these projects are some examples of the work the BCU does, they work tirelessly to advocate for safe street infrastructure.  BCU is a fantastic organization, and I encourage you to read more about their work on the website linked above.

Any amount helps; even $5 makes an impact!  Your generous donation will go directly to fund BCU’s advocacy campaigns, organize and host community and membership events, and support policies that promote sustainability, equity, and public transportation.
