Hello!

This summer I'll once again be biking from Boston to Montreal - over 400 miles of riding and camping! I did this ride in 2023 and had an absolutely amazing time, and am so happy to be returning to ride again! I'm doing this ride with the Boston Cyclists Union (BCU), an amazing organization that's helping make Boston's roads safer and more equitable for all. This is the BCU's main fundraiser for the year, and its critical they get the support they need to continue making a difference here! They advocate for policy that will improve the streets and make Boston more sustainable, like promoting e-bikes, lobbying to raise the city's bike budget, and campaigning for safer bike lanes on busy streets throughout Boston. They also hold free bike repairs at various farmer's markets, which I've definitely benefited from. 

Talking to my parent's and other folks who used to live in Boston, the city has improved drastically in the last couple decades in terms of bike safety, and BCU has been at the center of a lot of that improvement. I really appreciate their efforts since I spend so much time biking around Boston, plus will be commuting to work year-round. The recent work on Mass Ave and Tremont St have directly impacted my commute and helped me feel safer on the streets, so hopefully we can continue to prevent the needless accidents that still occur in Boston, and make biking in Boston a safe and accessible option for all!

I'm really happy to support this organization with this ride, and I hope you can help me reach my fundraising goal! 80% of these donations go directly to the BCU, the other 20% is to support the ride itself. I've been doing training rides with this group as the chilly winter slowly thaws, and am so stoked to bike with everyone! I really appreciate anything you can contribute to making this ride a reality :)
