Summary

As a former Title I school student, I find JA's programs to be particularly important because in many cases kids may not get exposed to these subjects within their own communities.  Although JA is established nation-wide, I can say from experience that their programs definitely have a local impact.

I've had the opportunity to go into various Title I K-12 classrooms to teach kids of all ages about the fundamentals of money, finance, and career preparation, and it has been a blast.  I've also participated in JA Town, and I really enjoyed watching the kids get to act out and become a version of their future selves!
