Big Brother Arthur and Little Brother Damon exemplify the magic that happens in great match relationships.

Without a positive male role model in his life, Damon was acting out at home and school and was headed down a risky path. His mother reached out to BBBS for help and Damon was matched with his Big Brother Arthur.

During their five years together, Arthur and Damon have attended Arena football, gardened together, hit the movies, enjoyed meals out, and even caught a Big 3 pro basketball game. Arthur has always focused on broadening Damon's horizons by challenging him lovingly and teaching him life skills such as taking care of a yard, cooking, paying attention to world events and being a gentleman.

Today, Damon's behavioral issues are a thing of the past and he’s thriving at home and in school. We are honored and delighted to recognize Arthur and Damon as our Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester & Putnam 2022 Match of the Year!
