Kiwanis and Big Brothers Big Sisters....
The motto of Kiwanis is “Serving the Children of the World.” The mission of Kiwanis is “Improving the World One Child and One Community at a Time.” On the local level, supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks (BBBSSADK) provides Glens Falls Kiwanis members with an excellent opportunity to fulfill the motto and mission of our club. BBBSSADK provides area children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. GF Kiwanis and BBBSSADK are the perfect combination to benefit the children of Warren, Washington, and Northern Saratoga Counties. Your donations to our Bowl for Kids' Sake team fundraising page go directly to BBBSSADK programs and services. Our Team - GF Kiwanis Pro-Am
GF Kiwanis Pro-Am is comprised mainly of club members. friends and family who are unskilled recreational bowlers. We do, however, have a few ringers to make our competition with Rotary interesting. Scores are not important at all. It's all about having fun and raising money. Over the past 15 years, GF Kiwanis Pro-Am has raised $86,963 for BBBSSADK. Members can help by bowling and fundraising, supporting bowlers with a pledge, participating at the event as cheerleaders and sponsoring the event at one of many levels. If you're not a bowler, consider BFKS a party. Buy some raffle tickets, enjoy a few libations, cheer on your favorite bowlers, boogie to the DJ's tunes and help Kiwanis realize its fundraising goal.
