Many of you that know me are aware that I have had a passion for a long time to see our youth prepared for going out into the world with the tools they need to succeed. Last year I discovered Junior Achievement and can't believe that it has been around for 100 years and I am just now finding out about it. The primary foundation is to teach K through 12 young adults Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship and Job Readiness. I was so impressed with the courses and material they offer I just had to join the local board to support their programs. We cover Josephine and Jackson Counties. Everything that you gives goes towards our local youth learning. If you would like to know more about it I would welcome the opportunity to talk with you. .
