1. Boys have a safe place to talk and not feel alone. They learn how to handle feelings in a healthy way and make good choices for themselves

2. Boys learn to support one another on a real level, be honest and keep their word

3. Less likely to skip school

4. Higher grades and test scores, leading to less High School drop-outs and more diplomas

5. Less likely to join a gang or use drugs

6. Less likely to commit suicide

7. Boys learn to respect women

8. Boys discover the values they want to live by that will keep them honorable

9. Boys learn how to be leaders and work together in cooperative collaboration

10. Boys learn the importance of being of service to others, developing valuable life skills and contributing to their community

• Support and energize all of our current mentoring programs in Northern California. Our yearly fundraiser makes sure we continue to provide weekly mentoring and periodic field trips (adventure outings) throughout the school year, 

• Champion the expansion of our proven mentoring programs to more schools and positively affect the lives or more boys and young men. We are excited to announce that we have doubled the amount of schools and boys we are serving since our 2024 fundraiser and we plan to do this again! 

• Provide adventure mentorship in the form of nature outings, backpacking, camping and activities like mountain biking, kayaking and archery that create important memories, team building opportunities and connection with nature. Outings also assist the development of interpersonal socio-emotional skills as well as life and leadership skills.

• Directly support low-income families to receive needed gifts for the Holiday season. 95% of the families we serve are low-income. 10% of all funds raised will purchase needed gifts for the families with boys in the program. Last year we gave away nearly $6,000 in gifts and grocery gift cards.

• Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small! 

• Make it a Recurring Monthly Donation: If you plan to donate $120, make it $10/month recurring instead of a one time $120. This is extremely helpful for us in planning services and activities throughout the year.

• Double the Donation: Let us know if your company or employer has a matching funds program.

• Spread the Word: Share this fundraising page and/or our digital flyer with your friends, family, and social networks. Help us spread the word about this amazing program. Simply copy the link or the flyer and send it out by email and text. A personal message about why you support Boys To Men Mentoring is extremely helpful and a follow-up phone call is even better.

• Join Our Fundraising Team: Most everyone want to give to something important and meaningful. As a fundraiser you simply provide a service by taking the burdon of reasearching charitable causes away from the would-be donor. • Business Sponsorships: Sponsors get their logos or photos on our fundraising pages and we estimate these will be seen by thousands of people during the campaign.
