Gift Hope 2020
2020 has been an unforgettable year for everyone and I understand that times have been tough. But for those individuals diagnosed with a primary brain tumor, times have been even tougher.
This year, an estimated 23,890 adults (13,590 men and 10,300 women) in the United States will be diagnosed with primary cancerous tumors of the brain and spinal cord. For those patients diagnosed with the most common form of malignant brain tumor, Glioblastoma, the five-year relative survival rate is only 5.6%.
The Brain Tumor Network is an incredible non-profit organization that I have had the honor of working with since March 2020. This intelligent and compassionate group of people, led by our fearless leader Rick Sontag, has been providing direct, one-on-one support and guidance to adult primary brain tumor patients at no cost for the past 7 years.
Your generous gift helps to drive our mission forward to providing compassionate and personalized high-touch navigation to adult patients and their caregivers within the United States who have been impacted by a primary brain tumor. Thank you for your gift of Hope this 2020 Giving Season.
