On October 7, 2020 Millersville University will hold the 10th annual Breast-A-Ville event on the promenade outside of the Student Memorial Center. Since the inaugural year in 2011, Breast-A-Ville has engaged students and the Millersville community in informative and fun activities to increase awareness about breast health and breast cancer. Local health agencies and experts come from the surrounding area to serve as exhibitors at the event.
How to get involved:
- Host a table at the 10th Annual Breast-A-Ville on October 7, 2020 – The event will take place from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Exhibitors are needed to share an informative tool or host a fun activity/game. Giveaways are also encouraged!
- Join us October 2, 2020 at the Ware Center Pink Out (First Friday Lancaster) – In addition to “Breast-A-Ville” we are hosting a “Pink Out” at the Ware Center in Downtown Lancaster as part of October’s First Friday. Join us 5-8pm for entertainment provided by singer Liz Fulmer, a raffle, and more!
- Invite your contacts – Help us spread the word by sharing this document with your contacts who may be interested in getting involved!
- Donate - Breast-A-Ville is presented by Millersville University's Breast Health Initiative, a collaboration with "Diana's Dreamers: Determined to Defeat Breast Cancer", an endowment established by Dr. Dennis Denenberg in loving memory of his late sister, Diana Denenberg Durand, who courageously battled breast cancer for 18 years. - Share your breast cancer stories – Do you have a story to share of how Breast Cancer has impacted your life or family? We are putting together a display of pictures and stories collected from our alumni, staff, and community members.
