Every year, Carousel Child Advocacy, the ONLY child Advocacy Center serving our region, sees about 500 children survivors of abuse with reports of physical abuse, sexual abuse and negect, in the Cape Fear Region, 138 were Brunswick children!

Join me in supporting Carousel Center, the ONLY Child Advocacy Center serving Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender counties.

Here are a few examples of how Carousel will put your gifts to work:

$125 You can provide one session of child therapy services for children who have experienced sexual/physical abuse and/or neglect so they can concentrate on doing the hard work of healing and get back to the business of childhood.

$1000 will provide SAFE GROUP Therapy sessions child survivor and their Parent(s)/Caregiver(s).

$500 will provide Group Therapy Sessions for Children with Problematic Sexual Behaviours and their Parent(s)/Caregiver(s).

$2500 will provide one complete Child Forensic Interview and Child Medical Exam used to pursue justice.

$2500 will provide one full course (16-25 weeks) of healing Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT). 

$10 Be G.E.M. Give $10 a month = $120 a year! You can provide Prevention Education and one workbooks every month so that adults in our community are empower to prevent child sexual abuse through awareness and stigma reduction.  

$50 will provide much-needed supplies used during healing therapy, such as art supplies, games, and coloring books to help children do the hard work of healing.

$25 monthly will provide healthy snacks, water and juice for child survivors on their healing journey after therapy sessions.
