Olivia was born at 28-1 weeks weighing only 14oz and 11" long.  Olivia had sever growth restrcition (IUGR) while in utero.  Since day 1, Olivia has been a fighter.  She fought through insufficient living conditions her first 28 weeks.  She fought to breathe and live after being delivered prematurily and very small.  She fought and concurred every piece of breathing equipment that she needed.  She fought through many eye exams.  She fought through gaining weight and growing each and every day.  She fought a day full of GI testing.  She fought through multiple diet changes.  She fought to get home.  She is still fighting to learn how to eat.  She fought Influenze A.  She is now over 14lbs and 24" long!  Olivia would  not have been able to fight her way through life if it wasn't for the amazing care of the Neonatal Team at Children's MPLS.  Olivia is the reason why we are walking and asking for your support.  Preemies who haven't been born yet are the reason why we are walking.  Every single baby deserves the support and care of these wonderful teams.  Olivia is a striving, happy, giggly, smiley, and sassy little girl.  Her journey is what has built her to be the figher she is today!   We would love for you to join our team and walk and/or contribute financially if you can!  Every little bit helps a future baby in need.
