Event Safety

A friendly reminder that riders agree to ride at their own risk and are requested to sign a waiver form before participating.  Completed waivers can be brought on the day of the event and turned in at registration booth.

It is important that ALL riders adhere to the rules of the road while participating in the Bike the Creek event.  Participants are strongly encouraged to wear fastened chin strap helmets.  Anyone under the age of 18 years of age is required to wear a helmet.

Routes are carefully planned and are subject to change.

On event day, all riders MUST arrive in advance of the start time of their selected route to attend the required safey briefing.  Volunteers are placed along the route that can provide directions and assistance.

All routes are to be completed by 1:30 pm and all riders should return back to Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre by this time.
