Why I Support Boys to Men NorCal

I’ve seen firsthand the immediate and positive impact Boys to Men NorCal has on our Nevada County community. They’ve sponsored basketball programs that thoughtfully bring teenagers and caring adults together, fostering mentorship and a sense of belonging. These programs empower youth by giving them opportunities to take on leadership roles, teach skills to younger students, and grow within a model rooted in sportsmanship and community values.

The most impactful work Boys to Men NorCal does is through their incredible mentoring programs in schools, and I cannot emphasize enough how vital these initiatives are today. Programs like these are essential for guiding young people, building their confidence, and ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.

• Support the expansion of our proven mentoring programs to more schools, affecting the lives or more boys and young men.

• Allow us to provide nature outings, backpacking, camping and adventure sports that create important memories of leadership and accomplishment for boys and young men.
