We are proud to be a certified B Corp.
Our partners at Bike First! hold an annual summer camp where individuals with a variety of disabilities learn the skills needed to ride typical two-wheel bikes.
Born and raised in New York City, Giuseppe studied illustration at Parsons School of Design where he learned traditional painting and drawing under instruction of some of the more renowned illustrators of that time. Over the past twenty years, his work explored subjects like people and birds, looking to capture life and personality with intentional strokes and deliberately looseness, and a little chiaro scuro for drama. He has been joyfully painting dogs for the past seven years. When he’s not capturing a Scottish Terrier’s beard, the speckled snout of a St Bernard, or looking deeply into the amber eyes of his labradoodle Ringo, he’s actively building a new body of work inspired by the golden landscapes of Central Oregon. Giuseppe is also our longest standing board member at NW Disability Support.
Multnomah County Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities
Multnomah County is a case management agency that hires Service Coordinators to provide individually focused care coordination and planning to children and adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities. Our goal is to increase overall quality of life, promote independence, and integration by providing resources and service in the family home and community for individuals we serve.
As a DJ for the past 30 years, DJ Avelanche is most notably known for “Breaking New Music and Shakin Things up.” Being a DJ has allowed him to communicate in the universal language of music among all walks of life. His passion transcends through all music genres and styles!
Castle Bound and Down is my creative outlet, a space where I can dream up magical clothing for your Park-loving prince or princess.
Every item of clothing is an original design inspired by beloved characters from my family’s favorite movies and shows. I have hand-selected every fabric to ensure quality and tested each dress on my toddler to make sure they’re comfortable and durable.
My clothes aren’t meant to be exact replicas of the characters you see in the movies. Rather, they’re my own take on these characters, making them perfect for 'bounding in the Parks or at home.
10% of every sale goes to support our local Down syndrome group, Northwest Down Syndrome Association, which works hard to advocate for inclusion and provide support to my daughter and others in our community with Down syndrome and other disabilities.
Art teacher. Science teacher. Dress Up Queen. Join me in making a beautiful mess as we explore science concepts. In this Science and Art mash up anything is possible and any artist can be a scientist.
