As many of you know, our son, Javier "Javi", was born in December of 2021. We received Javi's Down Syndrome diagnosis when we were 13 weeks pregnant, within moments of birth, we knew how much our sweet boy would change our worlds for the better. Javi has brought so much joy and love into the lives of everyone around us in such a short amount of time, there is nothing better than his perfect smile, beautiful red hair and goofy personality. 

We have decided to participate in our first Puget Sound Buddy Walk this year with our son Javi leading the pack! Please help me reach my fundraising goal by contributing to Down Syndrome Community of Puget Sound (DSC), an organization that means a lot to me.  The DSC's mission is to provide impactful programs and resources for individuals with Down syndrome and their families while evolving perceptions in the broader community.   Funds raised at the Puget Sound Buddy Walk® allow them to continue to offer their many programs, events, and initiatives, and to add more to meet the needs of their members.
