Thanks for visiting Joyful Julia's team page!  Please help me reach my fundraising goal by contributing to Down Syndrome Community of Puget Sound (DSC), an organization that means a lot to our famliy.  The DSC's mission is to provide impactful programs and resources for individuals with Down syndrome and their families while evolving perceptions in the broader community.   Funds raised at the Puget Sound Buddy Walk® allow them to continue to offer their many programs, events, and initiatives, and to add more to meet the needs of their members.

Join us at the Buddy Walk, a day of celebration to promote the acceptance, inclusion, and respect of individuals with Down syndrome and their families, on Sunday, October 2nd at Woodland Park Zoo and donate to our team, Joyful Julia, so we can achieve our fundraising goal and get Julia's name on the event t-shirt!

Together, we gather and walk to celebrate the extraordinary lives of people with Down syndrome, express our commitment to creating inclusive communities, and raise much needed funds to provide programs, support, resources, outreach, and advocacy to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

Out of town or avoiding crowds? Join a team or create your own and walk with us virtually! Walk in your neighborhood, at a local park, on your favorite trail, or anywhere else you enjoy. Add your favorite moments to the celebration using #PugetSoundBuddyWalk and #JoyfulJulia when you post photos or video.
