We have participated in the Buddy Walk since 2015 to help raise funds for the Down Syndrome Community of Puget Sound (DSC). The DSC provides many impactful programs, events, and resources for individuals with Down syndrome and their families, and leads initiatives to promote understanding, respect, and inclusion in the broader community.

Our Team Names Over the Years

• 2022 - Jonathan F.C. - We decided to keep this team name going forward as it really suits Jonathan and his amazing fan club of family and friends!
• 2021 - Jonathan F.C. - F.C. stands for Football Club (as we play a lot of soccer) and Fan Club (as his base of supporters continues to grow)!
• 2020 - The “J” Walkers - During the pandemic the Buddy Walk was held in each team's local neighborhood, so we decided to spice things up with a bit of "J" Walking!
• 2019 - Team Jonathan (SNORT!) - Jonathan's favorite sound to make!
• 2018 - Jonathan’s ‘Knuckles’ Brigade - Jonathan's favorite greeting is a fist-bump ("knuckles")!
• 2017 - Jonathan's Bed-Jumpin' Monkeys - Jonathan's favorite song/book is 10 Little Monkeys!
• 2016 - Team Itsy Bitsy Spider - Jonathan's favorite song is The Itsy Bitsy Spider!
• 2015 - (N/A) - We were just tired parents eager to learn!
