Everyone who has seen videos or pictures of Chance on social media knows how special he is to our family. He is the greatest blessing our family has received, and in his three and a half years, has taught us so much. We love him, and want to raise as much money as possible through the Buddy Walk, so that he and others have access to all the wonderful opportunities DSC provides.  Our family wholheartedly champions the DSC Buddy Walk idea that "Together, we gather and walk to celebrate the exrtraordinary lives of people with Down Syndrome, express our committment to creating inclusive communities, and raise much needed funds to provide programs, support, resources, outreach, and advocacy to individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. 

Mission of Down Syndrome Center of Puget Sound:

The DSC's mission is to empower people with Down syndrome and their families through life-long learning and experiences, while building an accepting and inclusive society.

Where does the Money Go?

Funds raised at the Puget Sound Buddy Walk allow them (DSC) to continue to offer their many programs, therapies, resources, events, and initiatives, and to add more to meet the needs of their members.
