Last December our son Ayers was born with Down Syndrome! The journey of meeting our son was quite the event. We were living in Alaska when we got the news that Ayers would potentially be born with Down Syndrome. Where we were living in Alaska they did not have the necessary medical care to take care of Ayers if he had any medical problems. Because of this we came to Seattle for delivery. After his birthday we spent the next month living in the NICU at Seattle Childrens Hospital. Because of Ayers' diagnosis as well as his other health conditions we decided to move to Seattle in order to provide him with the best care and opportunities. We have seen so much help and love from the Down Syndrome comminity since moving here! We really couldn't have surrived these past few months without the support of so many people and we hope to give back so others can be blessed like we were! 

Also the walk is on my 25th birthday! It would be the best birthday present to have you join us to walk in person or virtually!
