Whether this is your 1st time or your 6th time, we are so glad to have you on board for this year's buddy walk! The Buddy Walk is always a day filled with joy, dancing, education, advocacy, and fun. We would be so happy to have you there with us at the Zoo on October 13th, cheering Lolo on! If you can't join us this year, we hope that you'll continue to advocate for people with Down syndrome and help us build and inclusive and accepting society.
Proceeds from the Buddy Walk go directly to the Down Syndrome Center of Puget Sound. They are an outstanding resource to the community, offering therapies, social opportunities, summer camps, parent support, and so much more! Lolo participated in a camp this summer at DSC. It was such a relief to know that he would be in a safe space where people understand and are prepared to support him, all while keeping fun at the forefront! He had a blast and hardly said goodbye to us on his way in each day :)
