My Buzzee story started last year (2018) at the first Buzz Off Cancer event. My best friend helped to put on the event and even shaved her head too! I learned so much from helping her and became extremely inspired while attending the event that I vowed right there to be a buzzee next year...and here we are!

By choosing to buzz my head, I hope to honor those with cancer. The act of shaving is so much more than just losing your hair.  As a buzzee, I hope to raise funds and spread awareness for those individuals who are battling this disease.

Not only do I want to spread awareness for those individuals, but also for the ways in which they can find relief from this disease as well! I work as a dispensary technician at Herbal Remedies Dispensary in Quincy and have seen first hand what medical cannabis can do for those patients dealing with cancer of all types. My heartfelt wish is to enlighten our community about the benefits of medical cannabis, as well as spreading awareness and raising funds!

I hope to show patients and our community that I'm here to rally around them and support their journey. And that the funds I raise as well as the support I bring gives hope to those facing cancer and their family and friends.
