On Sunday, March 1, 2026 I'm doing this dumb-ass thing with a bunch of other dumb-ass people in the freezing-ass Chicago winter cold.
No, not just for fun - this is the Polar Plunge® Chicago, which raises money for the Special Olympics Illinois - Special Children's Charities.
I am happy to put my stupid on display to help a bunch of cool-ass people have the chance to experience a bit of the excitement and magic that we all just finished watching on TV live from Milano Cortina. People with intellectual disabilities will get to discover new strengths, and abilities. They will accomplish things that; with out your support; they may not otherwise have the opportunity to.
