It’s that time of year again — when our Okta crew rallies around the Polar Plunge and the incredible athletes of Special Olympics. Funds raised directly support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities and the life-changing programs they participate in each year.

This year, as preparations began, we received the heartbreaking news that Ve’s wife, Brenda Langstraat Bui, passed away suddenly in a tragic accident at their home.

In light of this unimaginable loss, we are pausing the physical Polar Plunge. We won’t be jumping into the lake — but we are doubling down on our commitment to the cause that meant so much to Ve and Brenda. ?

For years, Ve inspired so many of us to show up, give back, and lead with heart. In honor of Brenda’s memory and the legacy they built together, we’re continuing to raise funds to support the athletes they cared so deeply about.
