Join the #ComEdCoolers at the 2026 Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children’s Charities!
We will be back at North Avenue Beach on Sunday, March 1, 2026 as the largest corporate team.
Because of your participation, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
Employees, corporate partners, family, and friends, are all welcome to create a team under the ComEd Coolers and plunge into Lake Michigan for a great cause!
ComEd Coolers Registration Types:

Plunger (Jump into Lake Michigan!) - $100 Registration Fee + Must Meet $200 Individual Fundraising Goal. Registration fee counts towards the fundraising goal. Eligible for the ComEd Plunger Swag!

Virtual Plunger (Join Virtually) - $100 Registration Fee & $25 Minimum Fundraising Goal. Eligible for the ComEd Virtual Plunger Swag!

High School Plunger (Student Plunger; 14 Years & Older) – $50 Reduced Registration Fee & No Individual Fundraising Goal. Eligible for the ComEd Stanley Bottle. ComEd Swag is only for Adult Plungers.

Children Plungers (13 Years & Younger) – Free to register but must be registered by an accompanied adult. ComEd Swag is only for Adult Plungers. Children Plungers are eligible for the ComEd Stanley Bottle if they meet a $50 Individual Fundraising Goal. Children Plunger option shows up once an Adult Plunger registers and Adds Another Participant.

ComEd Supporter (Attending but not Plunging, Fundraising Only) – Free to register & No Individual Fundraising Goal. Not eligible for the ComEd Swag.
