When Ve Bui joined Okta, he brought more than just his technical talent; he brought a tireless passion for the Special Olympics. For the past three years, Ve has rallied a group of "Oktanauts" to brave the Chicago winter for a great cause—personally raising thousands of dollars and inspiring his teammates to do the same.

This year, as preparations began, we received the heartbreaking news that Ve’s wife, Brenda Langstraat Bui, passed away suddenly in a tragic accident at their home.

While we cannot take away the pain of this loss, we can honor the legacy of service that Ve and Brenda shared. This year, we are pausing our physical "plunge" into the water, but we are doubling down on our commitment to the cause.
