Becca started her life with a highschool friend of my husband's.  Unfortunately they were moving and were unable to take Becca with them so my husband decided he wanted to help rehome this beautiful dog to a loving family.  At that time, we were not ready to committ to having a dog in our family due to have little boys and our busy lives. My husband reached out to his sister who was more than willing to give this smart dog a new home.  She fit right in with the other dogs in the home and was instantly LOVED by all.

Over the next few year, we were Becca's dog sitters when her new family went on vacation and we LOVED our time with BECCA.  Our youngest son is a HUGE animal lover and has always wanted all sorts of animals. We have two cats and have had numerous hamsters and fish.  Because of his love for animal, we would visit animal shelters often to look at cats and dogs.  We wanted to fulfill Rory's desire for another pet but we also wanted to find the perfect dog.  We needed a dog that was smart, house trained, obedient, loved kids and cats.  Where would we find this dog?  After getting to know Becca, we know what we wanted but weren't sure we would find the perfect dog for our family.

One night, Rory broke down in tears about needing (not wanting) a dog.  He was so distraught that we asked Auntie to bring Becca over for the night to help comfort Rory.  That night turned into A WHOLE NEW WORLD for BECCA and RORY!  Needless to say, we never returned Becca.  She became OURS (Auntie was happy to let Becca be with Rory because she knew how much Rory loved her and how much time he would spend playing with Becca).  We took over ownership of BECCA and she visits Auntie's house when we vacation.  This has been the BEST thing for our family and for BECCA.
