Friends and family,

As many of you know, God has given me a passion to witness the healing of broken hearts through the work of counseling. During my master's program at Denver Seminary, I've been asking God how He wants to use my gifts specifically in this. Recently, He began opening my eyes to the life of slavery that precious women and children face daily in Cambodia through human trafficking.

I believe that God is asking me to take a specific step of obedience by traveling to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to serve on a mission trip this upcoming July. I will be on a team with JOY International, a ministry dedicated to fighting child trafficking. We get the opportunity to be a part of the transformative work that God is already doing in Cambodia - rescuing, redeeming, and healing the weak and vulnerable through the power of His radical love. From July 7-22, my team will spend most of our time focusing on:

  • Karaoke bar outreach
  • Rice and food distribution in impoverished communities
  • Bible and discipleship training
  • Leading music and dance with children who are at risk of being trafficked
  • VBS ministry for children in high-trafficking risk neighborhoods

How can you partner with me?

  • Prayer. This is the fuel that allows us to be successful as we follow God’s call to share the gospel in Cambodia! God tells us that “if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 5:14). 
  • Financial giving. I am raising $3,200 by June 23 to cover the cost of the trip and to support JOY International in their mission, including the projects and activities we will be doing on our trip. Will you consider donating to help our team? Anything amount is a huge blessing from the Lord. All donations are tax-deductible and non-refundable.
