The alumni committee's mission is to support YMCA Camp Chingachgook’s growth and progress, preserve its history, maintain its traditional values, and provide opportunities for alumni and camp friends to stay in touch with each other and Camp Chingachgook throughout the year. The magic of camp transcends generations, and the Chingachgook experience that we all know and love is still being delivered to a new wave of campers. Soon enough, reveille will blow, new friendships will be made, new skills learned, and the sound of the whole camp singing taps will echo off Buck Mountain as the sun sets behind the lake.
Your support of the Alumni Association helps provide scholarships to campers and strengthens programs by funding projects such as expansions to the summer sailing program, high ropes course, hiking programs, and larger capital projects such as the Hike Center, Baxter Field, the Climbing Tower & the Sailing Pavilion.
