Mabel is raising money for Canine Companions® because she believes in their mission and knows first paw the exceptional impact service dogs like her have on the people they serve. Canine Companions is an advocate for responsible service dog handling and is one of the oldest most respected service dog organizations in the United States.

Did you know? Each Canine Companions service dog is expertly trained and matched with a person with a confirmed disability. The teams train together before being matched, afterwhich they develop an incredible connection and bond! Working with "their person" dogs like Mabel provide greater independence and an amazing life-time partnership.

Mabel opens and closes doors/drawers, helps put laundry in the wash, pull sheets off beds, and carry items. Dogs like Mabel are extensively trained and tested, as well as monitored for the duration of their career to ensure they continue to meet the highest standards of service dog professionalism!
