The beginning of summer marks three big days for us - our wedding anniversary (42 years!), my birthday June 1, and Ron's June 9. You know we love dogs so much, and we continue to miss our Gracie. But in her honor, and in honor of our triple hoopla days, we've decided to do a fundraiser for this extraordinary 50-year-old organization I have found. They breed, raise, and train dogs for older children and adults with all kinds of disabilities and for veterans. If a dog cannot be a service dog, he/she may be part of their breeding program, or be trained to be a therapy dog or facility dog. So many options, but they all are a reflection of a dog's ability to bring happiness and purpose to our lives, much like our Grace (and Mika, and Jenny, and Sally, and Rebel) did for us.
