As a dog trainer and zoologist, it would be an understatement to say that dogs have positively shaped my life. I find it comforting knowing that so many of you dog lovers out there understand what I mean when I say my world would be much grayer without their companionship.
That’s why, for my 31st birthday this year, I wanted to show support for people who could truly benefit from that same connection. Canine companions is a nonprofit that brings highly trained service dogs to people with disabilities- free of charge. Just by being here, you’re helping bring attention to this amazing nonprofit — but if you’re feeling generous, I’d be grateful if you'd consider donating to my birthday fundraiser.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I wish you and yours all the best.
To learn more about what we are supporting together, I've included some information about Canine Companions down below.

Canine Companions is a nonprofit organization that provides expertly trained service dogs to individuals with disabilities, free of charge. Canine Companions primarily uses Labrador retrievers, golden retrievers, and a mix of both breeds. The Northern Ohio Chapter works to raise awareness, support fundraising, and place service dogs that enhance the lives of people with disabilities in Ohio.
Each Canine Companions service dog is specially matched with a person with a disability. The connection and bond that the team has is incredible! These dogs not only open doors, pick up dropped items and turn on light switches, they provide greater independence and an amazing life-time partnership.
